I hear it time and again,all over the internet. “How long does it take to find success?” Time and again I read the same answer from a wide variety of people.
People unanimously tell you that becoming successful takes a long damn time.
How long?
YEARS!
People say it takes 3 to 5 years to become successful. They say that building any business takes a long time, it’s not that hard to do, but it’s tedious and it doesn’t give you anything to show for it,until it starts working. You are lucky just to break even for the first several years.
Well I don’t know about you but I’m too damn impatient to wait for success to come to me.
Why do most businesses fail?
They run out of money!
Where does money come from?
Customers!
So what happens if nobody even knows you exist? It doesn’t matter how good you are. You could be the next Bill Gates.
It doesn’t matter how long or hard you work.
It counts for jack shit if nobody knows you exist.
Success doesn’t have to take a long time. It doesn’t have to be difficult. Why then does success take so long?
Because people don’t know you exist! You put a great deal of time and effort into making something great.
Good! That’s the first step!
The second step is getting the word out to people. You have to make yourself known, you have to BE somebody. This will happen naturally and you can achieve success a few years down the road.
OR
You can cheat and get the word out. This is called advertising !
Success will come to you at its own pace. OR You can go out and get it !
Success is a game.
Success is a popularity contest.
The more people who know you exist the better.
Wealth is NOT about how much money you have. The process of getting rich is not a solo sport.
Wealth is measured in the number of people who are there willing to support you and help you get to the top.
The easiest and most effective way to get people to help you to the top is by helping them get to the top too.
Zig Ziglar once said “You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
And he was right.
You can obtain success fast, you just need help to get there.
