People all over say that 80% of success is just showing up. Well they happen to be right, by simply showing up you drastically increase your chances of success. However this is only one piece NOT the whole puzzle.

Simply showing up alone will not guarantee success. It helps but you have to show up EVERY day, not just the first time or the second or the tenth or fiftieth time, EVERY time.

Secondly it’s not talking about showing up to a job. Although it’s good advice for a job. Nobody gets rich working for someone else. This means showing up to your own business and not being lazy. Ironically in order to even have a chance of getting rich, you have to quit your job and be scant broke for a while, focusing all of your time and energy into making money on your own. Hunger is a POWERFUL motivator.

Third there is another saying and another formula.

So the actual formula is 10% of success is inspiration (the dream), 80% of success is just showing up, and 90% of success is hard work.

I know what you’re thinking. “But that comes out to 180%” “If 100% is all that you can give then how in the world can I put out more than I have?”

Well now, there is a third formula.

Success is not a solo sport, its a team sport. You don’t get wealthy without a group of people to support you.

You don’t have to do all of the grunt work yourself. Some people are natural leaders and team builders. These people are the ones that put forth the ideas,and orchestrate everything. And its these people who are the ones who reap most of the rewards.

You get to the top by people lifting you up, and you lifting them up once you get there.

This is the whole picture.
